Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CiteTitan (the "Service") provided by Sage Titans ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

The Service measures how often AI answer engines cite or mention a brand in response to buyer questions, and reports the results to you. Results are estimates based on responses returned by third-party AI engines at the time of each analysis and may vary over time.

2. Your account

• You must provide accurate information and verify your email address to use the Service.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

3. Credits and analyses

Running an analysis consumes credits from your account balance. New accounts receive a number of free trial credits. Additional credits may be purchased. The number of credits required per analysis is shown before you run it and may be adjusted over time.

Credits do not expire. They remain on your account for as long as your account is open.

Credits are not transferable. They cannot be moved between accounts, sold, or exchanged for cash, except as set out in our Refund Policy or in section 13 below.

If an analysis fails, you are not charged for it. Where an analysis cannot be completed at all, the credits are returned to your balance. Where an analysis completes only in part, because an engine did not respond or returned an error, you are charged only for the questions that were answered, and the balance is returned. Your account history shows every charge and return.

We cannot guarantee that every engine will respond. AI engines are third-party services and may be unavailable, rate-limited, or may change without notice. Where an engine does not respond, it is excluded from your score rather than counted as a zero, and the report says so.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to analyze content you have no right to analyze.
• Attempt to bypass credit limits, access controls, or security measures.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, or attempt to access other users' data.
• Resell or redistribute the Service without our written permission.

5. Payments

Credit purchases are processed by our payment provider. Prices are shown at the time of purchase. Please see our Refund Policy for details on refunds.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and content, is owned by Sage Titans. The data and results generated from your analyses are yours to use for your own purposes. You grant us permission to process the queries and domains you submit in order to provide the Service.

7. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party AI engines and providers. We do not control their outputs and are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or changes to those services.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that results are complete, accurate, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Analysis results are informational and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for business decisions.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sage Titans will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used abusively. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Punjab, India.

13. If we discontinue the Service

If we decide to stop offering the Service, we will give you at least 90 days' notice by email. During that period you may continue to use any credits on your account. At the end of it, unused credits lapse, but you may request a refund for any that remain unused and were paid for, and we will process it.

14. No endorsement or affiliation

The Service analyses and reports on publicly available outputs from third-party AI engines, including ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or partnered with any of these providers, and our use of their names is purely descriptive.

Reports may name other businesses as competitors or as sources cited by AI engines. Naming a business is a statement about what an AI engine said, not a statement by us about that business, and does not imply any relationship between them and us or between them and you.

15. Your data, and deleting it

We keep your account data, your analyses and their results for as long as your account is open, because your trends depend on your history.

You may request deletion of your account at any time by writing to legal@sagetitans.com. When you do, we will delete your account, your services, your questions and your analysis results within 30 days. Records we are required to keep for tax or accounting purposes, such as invoices, are retained for as long as the law requires.

Deleting your account does not entitle you to a refund of unused credits, except as set out in our Refund Policy.

16. Events outside our control

We are not liable for any failure or delay in providing the Service caused by events outside our reasonable control. This includes failures or changes at the AI engines the Service depends on, failures of internet or hosting providers, power outages, natural disasters, war, civil unrest, epidemics, government action, and industrial action.

Where such an event prevents us from providing the Service for a sustained period, we will tell you, and section 13 applies if it becomes permanent.
